I’m Cynthia, bespoke Surrey wedding planner, and designer here at Kimberley Rose Designs.

I love planning weddings, particularly the creative and design process. The prospect of transforming a space excites me and the gorgeous details that create the ambience for your day are the cherry on top for me. I guess that’s partly why I love weddings so much. That, and the fact that I also enjoy bringing loved ones and families together to celebrate life and love (that’s the romantic in me!).

I’m a lady of contrasts. I love nature and spend time taking long leisurely walks in open spaces and greenery (I live in Surrey, a part of England that has greenery in abundance!) but I also love the buzz of the city (London) and the fact that you can escape from it into nature for some peace and quiet. Both excite me in equal measure – contrasts!

As a bespoke Surrey wedding planner and designer, I come on board to help you plan and design your special day. If you are brimming with ideas for your day, I help you harness all those ideas and create a cohesive look that flows throughout your day. On the other hand, if you just don’t know where to start, I help you delve into your own sense of style to create something that is truly a reflection of you for your special day.

How I work and my approach

Classic, understated elegance with hints of whimsical, simplicity and laid-back luxury define my style. However, I design and plan different styles of weddings from outdoor, lavish affairs in luxurious marquees, (whether it’s on the grounds of a country estate or your parents back garden) to exquisite indoor celebrations. I’m detail conscious and my working style reflects this. I’m also quite flexible in my approach and can adapt to suit different times and zones (so scheduling calls in your timezone is totally fine)

In my experience, planning a wedding is a long-term affair especially if you opted for my full planning and design service, which is typically 12 – 18 months, we’ll get to spend a lot of time together, pulling together the details of your wedding, so it’s important to me that we’re a good fit right from the start.

That’s why I speak to my clients first before we start getting into the finer details and I would do the same with you too. From experience, I know that trust, ease of communication and mutual understanding all make the wedding planning process a much more relaxed and enjoyable one and those are values I will uphold throughout our time together.
